Looking for Participants (18-30yrs) For Training in the Netherlands

Project Summary

Global EVS is a training developed by Code-X International, to give EVS youth workers the skills, competencies and networks to develop EVS projects outside of Europe.

Code-X International has years of experience developing and implementing EVS projects in Asia, Africa, South and Central America. We have sent dozens of volunteers to youth development project in organizations that have a great need for skills and influences from Europe. And we have realized that not many EVS organizations have been able to provide these projects, which is reflected in the over-whelming amount of applicants that we get for each of our Global EVS projects.

Therefore Code-X would like to share our skills, experiences and networks to youth workers and organizations that work within the EVS program. Through a 5-day training we will provide:

• Lessons on project development and cooperation with organizations in developing nations across Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
• Help each participant develop a viable EVS application, giving top tips on grant writing
• Provide each participant with our own network of partners across the globe
• Teach the participants how to properly prepare volunteers for EVS service in developing nations

Project Guidelines:

Please take note of the following conditions that apply to each possible participant:

1. Participants must be currently working within the EVS program and come from an accredited EVS sending or coordinating organization, and each organization can send up to two youth workers.

2. Participants should already be familiar with the EVS program, as our training will build on that

3. Participants should be between the ages of 18 and 30, and come from a Programme Country.

4. Participants will be required to pay 30% of Travel Cost and €150 participation fee, all other cost will be covered.
